Being a town, and a county, with a
long fishing
history its no wonder that there are many restaurants in Looe that
serve a large range of seafood!
However, if fish isn't your 'thing' all
culinary tastes and persuasions are catered for in the town.
Here are just a few of our favourite restaurants that can be
found just a short walk from the font door.

Chennai Indian
Fusion
A small
introduction to Chennai.
Modern India is one of the most diverse countries in the world,
it is made up of 25 states and 7 territories and its people use
18 different languages and practice 7 major religions - so you
can imagine the comlexity of the cuisine.
The dishes found in the majority of Indian restaurants are based
on a very successful menu formula. The original restaurants were
run by Punjabis where they served a mixture of their regional
cuisines; tandoori and mughal dishes such as korma and biryanni,
As the popularity grew the menu was established then replicated,
thus most Indian restaurants have very similar menus. Even
though there are a great number of dishes on offer they only
represent a tiny section of Indian cuisine.
Chennai wanted to bring more to the 'standard' menu - not by
adding more dishes but using different combinations of spices
from different areas, such as Goa, Rajestan, Bengal and Kashmir,
so bringing orignality to every dish.
We stock a large number of herbs and spices and our chefs, each
from different backgrounds, bring their own knowledge and
experience to their cooking.
