The cast of 'Beyond Paradise' (BBC) Looe is featured in the BBC's drama, 'Beyond Paradise' (the spin-off series of 'Death in Paradise'). The town forms the 'back drop' to the programmes - but has been 'relocated' to Devon and renamed 'Shipton Abbott'!

The main character is DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) who has returned to England from the tropical 'Death in Paradise' island of Saint Marie. He now resides and is stationed in sleepy Shipton Abbott, cracking cases and hoping for happily ever after with his fiancée Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton).

There have been two series of six episodes of the drama, together with a Christmas special. All thirteen episodes are available on the BBC's iPlayer.
Should a third series be commissioned, and you visit Looe, look out for film crews and the actors - and, you never know - you may get seen in Shipton Abbott!
